As per AP Vision 2029, The Government of Andhra Pradesh aims to be among the top three states in the country by the year 2022 and the most developed state by the year 2029. Ensuring a happy and globally competitive society is the state’s vision and people’s happiness and well-being is being put at the forefront of the state’s efforts and gauging levels of happiness across 13 districts has been undertaken for this purpose.
In order to make Amaravati a happy place and livable, The Government of Andhra Pradesh, in partnership with Omidyar Network and Dalberg Advisors is hosting a three-day conclave called ‘Happy Cities Summit- 2018’ in Amaravati from April 10-12.
Amaravati 2018” is the first of an annual global event on urban innovation and best practices, focused on cities of the twenty-first century.Officials from CRDA said that more than 1,500 policymakers, thinkers, city planners, architects, administrators and others were expected to participate in the summit.
In order to bring better livability and meet growing Urbanization, a Happy City Hackathon event is being conducted by CRDA, and any student of Class 9 and above can dream big and realize this by re-imagining Punnami Ghat and send their vision and concept for making Punnami Ghat a happy, active and vibrant.
